The Journey

Yellow Flowers Abstract

Shivangi Art School was established in 2001 by Mrs. Anju Chaudhary, at a time when Dehradun lacked a dedicated space for structured and professional art education.

Mrs. Anju Chaudhary, in her college days as Head Girl, discovered where leadership truly begins—an experience that shaped her sense of responsibility and laid the foundation for her journey ahead.

Named after her daughter, Shivangi, the school carries a deeply personal inspiration while standing firmly for creative excellence. Over the years, this vision expanded beyond teaching art into preserving and celebrating handmade traditions, leading to the birth of Aaratrika, a handicrafts venture rooted in craftsmanship and cultural expression. Together, Shivangi Art School and Aaratrika reflect a lifelong commitment to creativity, learning, and the timeless value of art in everyday life.
